Post-production

where the story happens

If you’ve ever heard the phrase, “we’ll fix it in post,” you’ve experienced the importance of post-production.

A Passion for Editing

Since the silent movie era, women have made their mark in film editing. To this day, it’s one of the few female dominated fields in Hollywood. In my pursuit of working in the film industry, I found myself following in the footsteps of these trailblazing women and gravitating towards post-production. Since then, I have spent the past decade working as a film editor in the industry with an affinity for story editing.

As someone who has also consistently worked as a videographer, director, producer and script supervisor for nearly ten years, I know the many unforeseen variables that affect shoot days and the obstacles post-production encounters. I also know that film production is a collaborative effort, and it’s my goal as editor to follow my client’s direction, while offering up creative solutions and concepts as needed.

My role as editor is to take footage, audio, graphics, music and any other relevant assets, and come away with a seamless final product that both reflects the brand identity of the client and exceeds the expectations of the customer.
